Maximum Infection Control
For You and Your Patients
Single-Use Clinical Thermometer
Disposable, Individually Wrapped
The NexTemp® Single-Use Clinical Thermometer is individually wrapped and intended to be disposed after use. It is designed for high accuracy readings and to prevent patients from exposure to infections such as COVID-19, C. difficile, MRSA, Norovirus, and Rotavirus. NexTemp® thermometers circumvent this risk by providing a clean instrument that is used with a single patient and then discarded.

Why NexTemp® Is The Right Choice
The Benefits of NexTemp®
Disposable for Maximum
Infection Control
NexTemp® single-use, disposable thermometers reduce the risk of transferring infectious diseases from a medical device to a patient. By virtually eliminating the possibility of pathogen transfer via the thermometer, NexTemp® thermometers significantly reduce the risk of patient-to-patient and patient-to-provider infection with COVID-19, C. difficile, MRSA, MDROs, Norovirus, Rotavirus and other HAIs. And, the unsurpassed clinical accuracy of NexTemp® thermometers allows clinicians to confidently chart a course for a patient’s treatment.

State of the Art Technology Offers
Unsurpassed Clinical Accuracy
NexTemp® offers better accuracy than other thermometers commonly used in a healthcare setting. Its performance is made possible by a remarkable innovation called Liquid Crystal Technology, which uses heat-sensitive liquid crystals to measure and display body temperature. Each of the dots has its own formulated temperature point that fires at a specific temperature. When a dot fires, the color changes from green to black. The number of temperature dots that fire is dependent on the patient’s temperature. The last black dot provides the accurate temperature reading.
Improved Workflow and
Reduced Labor Costs
NexTemp® thermometers provide a lower annualized cost than multi-patient, reusable thermometers based on added costs of batteries, probe covers, cords, cleaning, recalibration and repairs, and associated labor costs. Staff can spend more time focusing on patient care, and no time on cleaning, calibration or repairs.

NexTemp® vs. NexTemp® Ultra
The difference between NexTemp® Ultra and NexTemp® Standard is the duration of the
temperature signal after the thermometer has been removed from the patient’s mouth
(or underarm if an axillary temperature is taken). Both thermometers have the same
directions for use; the Ultra simply offers a longer period to read the patient’s
temperature before the thermometer begins the reset cycle.
